Hi Samboy,
As pointed out, FMG was ex dividend yesterday by 25 cents (fully franked). With the franking credits attached, all other things being equal, you would expect the share price to have fallen at least 30 cents yesterday, so actual 6 cents drop to $5.95, really equates to an adjusted share price of $6.25 from previous days trading (or a 4% price gain), which in my mind is a solid breakout above the $6 price resistance over the past week.
