Hi Veritas - Very happy for your comments. I agree that the "filling of the gap" is a well recognised process in charting and you are right - there are a couple to be filled on the way back to where we were at $26. I take solace in that the most recent rise has been mostly gap free (although there are small gaps in there) - but no breakaway gaps (which may present a greater risk IMO) . I am happy to stay in the trade until I get my exit signals as backtesting shows this to be effective. I have not found any way to include gaps into my trading algorithm, but happy to do so if anyone is able to propose a suitable set of rules against which I can backtest.
