It's not terribly productive, imo, to argue over whose technical analysis is right and whose is wrong... all analysis is likely to be both a little bit right and a little bit wrong depending on the market conditions at the time and the occurrence of outside events and unforseen happenings.
In any event, most analysis will be flawed at the moment as the market is subject to a degree of manipulation between now and 31/12. For most individuals and institutions in the US it is EOFY. Here, and everywhere else, it is EOM/EOQ and, if that weren't enough, volumes are lighter than normal which tends to skew moves - both to the upside and the down.
Best to let the institutional positioning and jockeying play itself out and return in the New Year, I would think, when cooler heads and normal trading resumes....
