I think that you are largely correct in asserting that the 200 day SMA is rarely penetrated. However I would also add that a deeper analysis of the data shows that such penetration is most likely to occur - all else being equal - around March/April and in the late August to late October periods.
As we have seen over the last 5 year time frame, these dips correct and the share price recovers, whilst dividends continue to be paid and the company continues to prosper. All the hand-wringing and the concerns over this or that chart seems to me to overlook the fact that falls in stock prices occur at regular intervals, are nothing to worry about in a solid stock such as FMG and should generally, imo, be treated as an opportunity to add to holdings...
