Hi there. I am trying to understand the terminology "Reported Gross Short Sale" on a particular day. For instance the Reported Gross Short Sale of FMG on the 29th Sept was 1,400,392. What is this mean? I am guessing this number representing number of shares has been sold on the market by shorters. Could some one please kindly explain? Many thanks.
