Well we might just see a higher US dollar and a lower A dollar and I am one who agrees with your thinking.

Our markets have climbed a wall of worry it seems and it may correct at some stage but I can't see FMG collapsing because
of fundamentals plus we have joint ventures in gold mines.

I've been through my weekly, daily and monthly charts and have given so many ticks it's not funny. Charts remain in
excellent shape as far as I 'm concerned and I haven't sold any and don't plan on selling any time soon.

I need dividends to keep me off the pension as do many others. What a disaster it would be for the government if pension
funds were to collapse and all of a sudden baby boomers like me were lining up for a hand out.

I was silly enough to listen to others last time and now I will just listen to myself and keep a careful eye on the charts and
fundamentals.

I do understand exactly what @slang is saying about monetary and fiscal policy and I suppose it depends why you might
choose to sell some. Some for example may want to put a sizeable deposit on a house for a child of theirs. That is not
the situation with me and nor do I care to become a landlord and be bothered with those problems.

I'm more about having the most comfortable life as possible in retirement.
