The term 'self funded retiree' really irks me in this instance (not a personal attack on you - just a general comment!).
Not sure how a person living off a tax refund from the government (after paying no tax in that financial year) is considered self-funded but a pensioner living on a payout from the same government isn't. Neither is 'self-funded' if they survive on government money.
Not arguing the merits so much as the terminology.
Anyway probably getting off-topic... I would like to see FMG use up some of their franking credits prior to the likely change of legislation. Got the right macro conditions to allow it also so might as well do so now.
