Hi albaman,
Based on your comment had a look at A1 as a potential target for FML, as its tenements lay primarily in the north - south greenstone belt running from the Regis operations in the north, to the Crescent operations in the south.
Unfortunately most of the A1 tenements lay in a long corridor extending over 120 kilometres which do not make them attractive from a milling perspective - the current small A1 mill is located in the southern extremity which does nothing to improve viability as a going concern.
The southern A1 tenements are either close to, or adjoin Crescent tenements so there may be some FML attractiveness to them (problem is to whom do you flog the northern tenements – may be a bit to far for Regis to pick up?).
Overall, I do not see A1 as a potential takeover target for FML., however, if A1 went into receivership then there could be some FML interest in acquiring some of the southern A1 tenements.
cheers, kentwang
