i expect the tax loss would be extinguished.But FML would collect tax benefits relating to its loss as a share investment at 7.7c FML share equivalent i suppose,around $50-60M off this years taxable income.

DYOR+DYODD If i was FML,i would consider that not bad,CRE for $13m and writeoff the shares you issued(to pay for it) as a tax loss to boot as well as being able to get on with it,with reference to CRE assets without hindrance thru shortage of funds or other holders.
Cre investments only worth it while the gold price holds up,when it goes down CRE's worth around the debt to FML.
Look at reids recent purchase including 3MT mill.
