Ive read lots of books, etc on Warren Buffett and consider the guy to be the best investor of all time.
One important point though, You basically heve to divide his career into 2 stages
STAGE 1) 1960-1980 The disciplined compound investor
Disciplined is an understatement...here is a man with one focus in life--TO AMASS HUGE AMOUNTS OF MONEY.
During his early years he basically did so by reinvesting every cent he made (along with most of his partners money) back into his carefully selected companies.
