Hi fitnfam,

Have been following your musings on the current state of CRE involving the Stone shareholding with great interest and think you bring a wealth of understanding on Chinese financial matters.

Cannot concede that we need patience on CRE operational matters while whatever Stone is up to plays out.

One thing we need to appreciate is that Stone has around a 12% shareholding in CRE with approximately a further 6% of shares being held by shareholders that did not take up the FML offer - figures are approximate and do not include convertible notes.

This leaves around 82% of ex CRE shareholders who are now FML shareholders, along with then existing FML shareholders (FML shareholders at the time of the takeover announcement) wishing to see FML immediately getting on with job of turning CRE as it exists today into a successful operation.

These shareholders are not going to wear FML playing what might be called ducks and drakes with CRE in an attempt to have Stone quit its shareholding in CRE.

There have been a number of strategy's put forward by others on this board on how to deal with the Stone situation that do not involve detracting from CRE operations, and it is perhaps a matter of adopting one or more of them.

Think the FML and CRE quarterly's will reveal how well both company's are travelling, however in the context of your post I think what happens with A1 over the next month could be more revealing.
