I hear what you are saying iron9, and I hold MXR as well as FMS.
The difference is the number of shares traded in the 25 to 30c spike for MXR, this was a short term flash in the pan.
FMS spent months in the teens and low 20's, meaning the entry price for a much larger proportion of shares is on the high end.
MXRO strike price was 20c, much higher above the near term average than FMS and FMSOA strike of 10c.
FMS has already fallen from grace and has found a support level. That is not to say this will fail too, that is possible.
If the global markets experience another round of great depression style developments, we could easily see much lower levels.
So the main reason MXR fell after option expiry I think was the higher strike price relative to the near and mid term trading range.
But don't quote me on that.
If anything, FMS looks to have been capped to prevent dilution, but I find that hard to believe really, but possible. More likely it's some real nasty market manipulators continually pumping and dumping. This is fertile ground for these wankers.
I hold long term and try and ignore these fluctuations.
