Saqqhara - My interpretation of "A notice of Exercise of Options will only be effective when the company has received the full amount of Exercise Price in cleared funds" .. would be to allow time for the cheque to clear. Sept 29th is a Monday so will probably send cheque and form the previous weekend (20th, 21st) to be on the safe side and to retain interest returns til then. Like you, I wouldn't like them to lapse at this stage of the game !
