2 days of cheap, next day of recovery. The constant in the equation is that the price movement is controlled by algorithms. Algorithms that are programmed by people. People that are controlled by emotion.

There’s a constant in all transactions and that is emotion, whether natural or programmed. People just don’t connect machines with emotion even though it was on emotional parameters that the machine was programmed in the first place.

That’s why selling begets selling and buying begets buying. Algorithmic trading has been designed to follow the trend, which is the flow of emotions translated into coding.
