That person (I think idiot is unfair) is a much better educated individual and would never hold 50% of a portfolio in a spec stock

A2M.. That’s a hard decision. While personally I believe the world is running along just fine, the mood that permeates throughout the media (remembering that the media disperses sentiment(real or imagined)) is pessimistic. This could be a deliberately motivated to a political bias or just a human trait to be more afraid than optimistic... Who knows.

If I was heavily invested in markets I’d want to be in the safest places.
