Like you I watched SDA yesterday and thought about pulling the trigger. However, I still have not decided (until just now, see below) for myself how much money I should gamble with, as opposed to investing. So I just watched.
I think going forward, I am going to play a little game to spice things up a bit (my portfolio is simply too boring for frequent discussion). Let's put aside $20k for gambling and see how much of this I still have left by this time next year. We could do it with pretend money but where's the fun in that? No it has to be real money. Father's Day shall be the anniversary day of the inception of what shall now be know as FGF (F01 Gambling Fund!). Let the hunt begin!
