    Volatility reigns supreme buddy!

I am about 80% invested, so have a bit of cash left....

I started buying in earnest when the ASX 200 climbed above 4800 and have been chipping away since as the economy was reopening and our virus curve flattened. I held back initially as I thought we would have a second drop, but that didn’t eventuate, yet.

When the market absolutely crapped itself on the 23rd of March, the volumes on the ASX were so huge that my Nabtrade platform also crapped itself so I wasn’t able to take advantage of it. All I could do is watch. Banks were in the 13s, etc but none for me.

I started buying banks in the 14’s, TCL around 12, bought some COF and NBI under 1.50 and so on. So good buys, just not complete bargains. I decided very quickly I wasn’t going to risk money and get stressed out trying to make bucketloads, but rather go slow and steady and make some money. It seems to be working, though I will be more aggressive earlier next time. Such is life. Like I said, a wonderful learning experience.
