ATC may well have a cash flow problem or not but don't read too much into 70% of billings being outstanding at the end of the quarter. My own business has large corporations as clients and had virtually no bad debt but often has only 30% of the money earned in a quarter paid within that same quarter. Never been any different. The wheels of industry turn slowly when paying. Consequently it is only a problem in the very short term as in the second quarter all the first quarter billings come in and you are missing 70% of second quarter billings etc. Now if we are talking bad debt then the debate would be different but I have seen nothing to indicate bad debt, in fact quite the contrary.
Grant love your posts and deeply appreciate the time, knowledge and effort involved. Are ther any small telcos worth considering? I am patient and like anti-cyclical buying.
