Hi Bill,
can be a long time - for something like Andewa, were a significant resource to be defined, is most likely at least 5-10 years away given lack of infrastructure in the area and the potential size of the project.
Sandfire on the other hand managed to do it in around 3 years I believe which is pretty quick and a smaller project sat in the middle of good infrastructure could be down to a couple of years.
