There are reasons why i live here, and they are none of ur business, everyone has their own reasons of doing things. I have friends from the states and UK, why are they in Australia? Is it just becoz what u said there?
Australia, without a doubt is a very good place to live, thats why we need to make this place better and better.
And one thing, i dont know how old u r, but what u see things 30 years ago is totally different to what it is today, the world is changing, get urself updated.
