Yes, footy, there are some 'confused' strategies out there but having said that, I only learnt that lesson myself through 'trial and error' over several years of trying different things. Personally, I love the excitement of the small cap stocks and doing the research needed, to find a potential long term winner.

Those who want to 'play and stay safe' would be better off in the blue chips and high dividend paying stocks, such as Telstra, perhaps.

Everyone should jump over to the homepage though, and have a read of 'yoda's post on defamation. It was at the top of the home page a few minutes ago. Make sure you also click on the very enlightening (for some) smh newspaper story contained within that post - I think a few posters need to see what can happen when management of a company decide enough is enough.
