Makes no sense
If King already had a reason to deny the NSW government would not need to provide anything other than a press conference stating they are honouring their commitment to deny the permit. That provides a strong commentary and wins votes.
This moves smacks of desperation and puts them at loggerheads with their federal counterparts who will have no option but to approve. If I was King I’d be on the phone this morning to Houssos with a few choice words.
State have thrown federal under the bus of course in my humble opinion.
