Amongst all the good posts one from @Hoodlum really grabbed my short attention span and that is this.

If Houssos and King are in cahoots and on the same page to deny the permit why would it be necessary for the NSW government to advertise their proposed change to legislation to bury PEP11. Wouldn’t Houssos just come out and say we deny PEP11 and now over to my Federal counterpart for the final nail in the coffin.

I’m reminded of an obscure reference in the movie a few good men when Colonel Jessop is asked why Santiago had to be transferred off the base if he ordered that Santiago not be touched by the rest of the platoon
