I agree. And I must admit, I've been pretty surprised by the lack of publicity surrounding the event. I mean, allegedly preventing a Presidential assassination is a big deal, right?!
Perhaps some of the facts still need to be clarified, hecne the low-key approach.
The SEA Games also had a lot of negative publicity around them, so perhaps the Phillipines didn't want any more dramas and put a bit of a clamp on media reporting of the event. Just speculating.
