"Again Infose you seem to have little understanding that Australian gold producers get paid in Australian dollars."

Trendtracker to my understanding the price of gold is fixed in US dollars and not in Australian dollars meaning that our miners always  get  nominally paid in US dollars.  That is very basic.

    "Glowing cash flow
Australian gold miners have seen operating costs increase over the last five years and that trend is expected to continue until 2020, according to Thomson Reuters gold forecasts. As a result, Australian gold production is also likely to fall in the coming years. However, Newcrest has one of the lowest costs of production in the country and is well positioned to take advantage of the strong U.S. dollar."

Well positioned to take advantage of a strong US dollar? How  on hearth is that possible if according to Trendtraker Australian gold producers get paid in Australian dollars?

Please, can anybody tell me as I would like to know?
