The sales numbers for the quarter apparently haven't presented the scenario that others appeared to be hoping for, and it seems that continuing to wait will be my current tactic.

I'm personally comfortable doing so, and don't doubt that others will jump ship. That said, while I certainly can't claim to possess your charting skills, I'm not sure I'd be comfortable suggesting that recent volumes are indicative of large holders running for the hills.
