It seems strange that no one here is commenting on the latest announcements ...
Brambles has just annouced they are buying back nearly 100 million shares at 520p a share ...
They still have over a US billion dollars left to buy back shares after the Unification on the 4th December
So we have good reason to expect the share price both to climb and not fall ...
... and for the speculators, if BIL does get taken over, it will be after the Unification has been completed obviously ...
As for me, I sold my BIL shares early in October, and bought some back 25c cheaper early in November ready for the Unification :)
