The other issue is, despite the fact that MG are bypassing the ACCC, there will still be competition problems.

I haven't the faintest idea how this will work out, but would be surprised if all the parties will allow it develop into a stalemate.

I agree about the farmers' interests which are vital to them. Unfortunately MG have already been headed off on competition, twice.
