Fonterra in urgent pricing talks with dairy farmers, page-7

This seems to be the beginning of a new era in the dairy market. Fonterra have always complained that the farm gate milk prices paid in Australia were too high!

It looks like that Fonterra are legally obliged to pay milk suppliers 'top up' payments - that will do considerable damage to Fonterra's bottom line with no way of recovering the payments.

Watch this space ! MG will recover many suppliers lost to Fonterra and to other milk processors .
