dont the UK police carry taser weapons, not all UK coppers dont carry weapons the special operations branch - detectives remember though that the UK isnt a big gun owning society like america ( reason why US cops have guns is every american has a belief in carrying their own personel weapons) the UK is closer to australia in its gun laws.
With a much lower violent crimes with weapons rate compared with the US the UK has less of a risk.
