food for thought - chinese speed

This has nothing to do with SDL, but there is an article in www.news.com.au about china opening the world's longest sea bridge which is 42km long. It took them an incredibly 4 quick years to build and open something so large.

The next longest is the lake pontchartrain causeway bridge in the US which is 4km shorter but took 8 years to build.

Proof that the chinese do things very very quickly, how safe it is I really don't know, but gee that's bloody quick to erect a bridge.

I wonder how quick mbalam will be developed, if the jv is done this year with a chinese partner. Maybe first shipment in 2013.
