Re my much earlier post as to how / how long to prove "Cvac works".

Thanks for the pointless flaming posts - what's the need for a 'discussion' forum if you all agree? I hold PRR and I hope it works. I'm also not inclined to accept management talk as gospel without some proof.

I didnt know enough about trial results and thought they would have to be fairly compelling to show success. Its not that clear cut, as most of you probably know. I looked up Provenge trial results and believe they give a pretty good guide as to the goal posts for PRR and why "they know it works".

The slide attached is from the Summary of Phase 3 IMPACT Trial Results Presented at AUA Meeting. The divergence from placebo outcomes comes at about 7 months. Overall, Provenge achieves a median increase of 4.1 months - I expected a bigger difference. There is not that big a divergance between the outcomes.

52.1% on provenge didnt actually survive past 24 months, but only 41.2% survived on placebo. Obviously for a patient that is a huge difference.

I imagine they should have a good idea by now that it can achieve that percentage difference. My guess is they should be able to show it has achieved some divergence between placebo and Cvac outcomes by the end of the year.

If all this is old news fair enough and ignore.
