Thank you for your reply. I cannot think of a company that has gained a BARDA contract and has gone bankrupt, but I have not done the research on this. I was saying it was very very unlikely, but Biota cannot grow on their own. BARDA grants much to many, typically to those companies that have products which would be important to national security. A company may have a great product, but if they are unable to launch, or if larger corporates prevent the launch through delaying tactics, the company may be forced to sell out. Sometimes the sell out is lower than expected relative to the market expectations indicated by equity price.
