I know plenty of people who use a false economy in their decisions, I imagine theyre shelling out money when they need to replace their current vehicle.
"my e-golf only costs me $1 to charge! im saving $30 in fuel each time!".
A base model golf is 22k, they're going to have to save a lot of fuel and maintenance costs to make up the 28k difference, can't explain that to some people though.
