The decision not to raise when the stock was in the 40 cent range will go down as a very bad one. Probably what condemned them to a challenged future.
Could have easily raised $20m at that point, would have bullet proofed the balance sheet, let them recruit talent on the marketing and sales side and let management focus on the business uninterupted without the need for time wasting additional raises to keep going.
As to why they did not? Let's see if you can work it out, its actually pretty obvious.
