Forget Corvus or Maitland or even Vietnam.
What if PPP's real chance for fame and fortune lies right back where it has gained its lauching pad.
Came across this following comment which is advertising blurb fo a share newsletter that gives strong 'tips' once you subscribe to it...
""Saudi-sized structures, they are that big."
That's GNS Science's David Darby's take on the oil reserves contained deep off the coast of New Zealand's Taranaki Basin.
He estimates up to 10 billion barrels of oil could be recovered.
That's more oil than Norway, Oman, India, Indonesia and the United Kingdom.
Of course, this oil has to be found first. And one tiny Australian company - stock selling for just $2.57 on the ASX - is leading the pack by a country mile.

Okay well you have a guess which Australian company fits the description above before I reveal the answer.
The question is what do you think of the possibility that the off shore Taranaki region could hold that much oil ? Does that seem feasible to you ?
And who is David Darby ?
Now did you guess right ?
Yes well it is AWE of course. And that has implications for NZOG and PPP of course.
Now the Hoki structure is a biggish structure and they are targeting oil there. They have said that if it has oil then it will possibly be as big as Tui....... which is probably a way of saying that if it does hold oil then they are hoping that it is bigger than Tui.
NZOG managed to get 10% of Hoki from OMV. Perhaps PPP should have ask for a percentage involvement as well.
Okay Hoki is just one of the structures. And PPP is involved in several of the other off shaore Taranaki drillings.
So what is you view of that suggestion of how much oil there could be in the area ?
Forget Corvus or Maitland or even Vietnam. What if PPP's real...
