until the Australian consumer has it in big red letters infront of them that they are buying a product of .....? there will be no swing away from imported products. "Contains Australian and Imported product" what the hell does that mean. Tell us whats in it and where it came from and let the public decide.
It makes me angry that people have to give up farming because there is no longer a $ in it for them. Ties to the land are strong and the decision to give it all up would have been made with a heavy heart. A familys heritage will now be just a memory. They will be able to drive the grandchildren past the farm and tell them about the way things used to be.
