The New York-based company also offers complementary services such as shift management to simplify worker scheduling and payroll. The agreement will enable Foodics to efficiently help existing and new clients add another revenue stream with its new delivery service provided by GetSwift.Foodics provides its clients – which range from major restaurant chains, coffee shops to food trucks – with cloud-based point of sale (POS) software within an iPad that replaces legacy cash-register hardware and expands functionality. The company offers POS services to clients at over 7,000 locations in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Egypt. According to Foodics, the system has processed over 1 billion orders and allows clients to manage stocks and increase table turnaround time while offering multiple languages and data reports that can be extracted across formats.“Following an extensive review process, we are very pleased to partner with GetSwift as we broaden our services to include delivery,” said Saleh Al-Ghamdi, channel and partnerships manager at Foodics.Al-Ghamdi added: “GetSwift’s platform will immediately simplify the dispatching and order management processes, both of which will be critical as we continue to expand across the Middle East.”GetSwift has partnered with several other major companies in the Middle East, including MCR which operates Pizza Hut restaurants across Pakistan, and Kout Food Group which runs Burger King, Taco Bell, and Pizza Hut locations across Kuwait.Earlier this year, Heineken chose GetSwift as its exclusive logistics supplier for direct-to-home beer deliveries in the Mexican market, building up upon recently signed distribution agreements between the two companies in Egypt, Malaysia and the Philippines.
