thanks blinky ..that makes sense .. two things that I find particulary difficult with these machines is that, in general the market spends very little time at range extremes, and the outer points of value..
however with these machines running yesterday they where able to hold the market at the extreme for an extended period , the other thing to be carefull of is the volume shown in the market depth , which can shake you out of a position, and has done to me many more times than I care to remember.
The only way to combat this is to hold your level untill theres a break either way ...it dosent make it any easier thats for sure ...and it means that you have to consistantly ajust you trading style to fit the conditions in the market ..not simple thing to do .
As I had put that theory into practice twice yesterday and got stopped out , the third time at the low was particulary difficult to hold ....
