Is it that bad? Say there are 30 big pharmaceutical companies, each doing 50 deals and partnerships, then that's maybe 1500 per year......and if you don't get a deal this year there's always next year (until a new technology overtakes). I believe a good value proposition will find a willing partner, and there are a good few of them among Aussie bio techs.
