Essentially what is aid about me on the BB is true--(LOL) Ive split up with my defacto partner of eight years (we both loved our dog Hamlet--and Anne is as devastated as I am)---aged 41 starting out fresh--it is just the neg>>>connotation that goes with that---I mean I'm nothing special--1 out of every three Oz marriages end in divorce---so I'm just a statistical norm. I sincerley feel (in the human context--as opposed to pets) for any parent that loses a child through divorce or death---I couldn't even begin to imagine how that parent would feel---it must be such an awful thing to suffer. For replacement therapy Arthur--I appreciate what you are saying---but the wound is too raw at this stage. To me he was my child--it's like saying your son or daughter has died----go out and buy another one>>>this is how I think---in time after a bit of a healing process I'm sure I'll start to think more outwardly rather than inwardly.
