I think you guys took me too literally in my Au & Ag extimates for next year.

I made those estimates partly in jest, and partly because it was a comp (in these type of guessing comps, it's best to have either the highest or lowest estimate.)

My thoughts on gold and silver next year are that they'll go UP... but to what extent, i'm unsure.

I reckon we're at the beginning of a mega secular gold bull market... thus, i wouldn't be suprised to see my targets hit in a few years time (min 2 years)...but, i seriously don't expect them to get hit, or even near those levels next year.

Seriously, i'll guess $500 for gold, and $6.50 for silver by the end of 2003... (sorry to dissapoint you guys :)
