Can't agree with you more on this one. My guess would be today's price (+or- x%) for both. If you trade stocks that's the only information you need to make a profit.
The ones who'll get burnt are those who really believe their inflated estimates and then buy into into sh*tty little stocks in the vain hope of making a mint.
The way to safely balance schoolboy enthusiasm with reality is to buy into stocks that will be profitable, with adequate long term economically viable resources,even if the POG should fall. Here we obviously don't agree.
