Welcome and a good post indeed. Day traders have different requirements than long termers, but for long termers what happens on a day by day basis is not relevant over the long term.
I am in for the long term, but we are all human and I guess it is a bit depressing if the price falls and you are looking at paper losses.
Just human nature I guess. Always remember that these boards tend to be made up of true believers and that the stock is undervalued, being manipulated or just blame the bots when it is not doing well.
