Why - if you have ever worked with someone that sat in a chair for 20 years you will know that 5 minutes after they left you get a very good look under the bonnet at the good and the bad and a chance to clean up or reset if needed.
I would suggest that is exactly what CG is doing now with hopefully AF so that the new CEO can hit the ground running, call it a natural cleanse and I would predict she will find some boxes to tick (that she thought were ticked...) and also her fresh set of eyes might find some opportunities for the company
