Assuming we're still talking about comparing two stocks to see what percentage gain is possible if one went the way the other...

How do you pick a date in NEU's journey to say "that's the comparable entry point to today, this is the percentage gain they made, we could be in for similar gains"?

I can't see that coming close to working due to volatility alone. Perhaps looking at something like an arbitrary (finger in the wind) VWAP on both stocks over "similar" periods in their journey cold assist there?

Maybe fully diluted market caps are an easier back of envelope comparison to make?

Amusingly, the "next NEU" commentary probably wasn't meant to be taken this literally hahaha

The intention was probably "see that stock over there how's it done real good recently, this ANP's a potential cracker too".

i.e. Trying to play that out with any semblance of accuracy is probably a fool's errand?
