If a partnering deal were to happen next month then negotiations would already be well advanced. In fact, one would suspect that the terms of the agreement would already have been initialled subject to final due diligence and the approval of relevant boards. Ditto, if the deal happened next quarter albeit the longer time horizon would suggest the potential for the assessment of competitive interest in the platform.

One would assume that negotiations are not data dependent and agreement has been reached on the dosage rate albeit the possibility remains that the data could be further improved at a higher dosage rate of 50mg. The partnership or partnerships will allow ANP to meet its stated objective to position the drug globally and presumably bring forward the opportunity to run combination trials.

My only personal excitement is not only that the 25mg dosage rate restricts just the right amount of white blood cells from moving into muscle tissue and dampening down inflammation but that ATL1102 modulates LTBP4 and Thrombospondin-1. The downstream modulation of these two critical proteins will help guide future disease indications including the potential to address the growing incidence of myocarditis.
