Of course we don’t know for sure why others (don’t even know if it’s a plural) bought continuously from 11:15 to close, not stopping for breath even though the price ended up 29% higher in 5 hours of trading. That’s why I said “Looks like”. For all we know, as you point out, it could have been a fund manager putting down the phone after a conversation with management, or a good old-fashioned pump before the dump, like the good ole Wild West days. It’s nothing like Feb 2nd, 2010 when the stock went from 5.2c to 20c in the first hour of trading on a nothing announcement.

Even though I also suggested the SP would be under some selling pressure while those that did not want to increase their exposure sold into their SPP allotment, the SP exploding like a volcano after a 3-4 week tight trading range is a bit hard to ascribe to SPP selling drying up imho.
