For those that don't understand that Akki is winding itsa up, this statement is very similar to saying it gets dark at sunset. Well it does if its winter and overcast, but its not in the summer Twilight.

Placebo controlled trials are awesome and add weight to data gained, where proof cant be found in other ways. An MRI showing muscle improvement would trump a placebo, for example. CarT drug trials for cancer, for example, were not placebo controlled.

Many of the DMD drug trials are using acting as good as or better than the SOC of steroids as there end point. Many have no placebo. But they need have solid data to prove their drug works. The FDA has put a lot of emphasis on bio markers as a way of doing this.
