    C'mon Encore,

    You're simply wrong with your definition of inflation/deflation, surely.

    You're describing the effects of both, and calling them the cause.

    Inflation is very very simply an increase in the supply of 'money/currency' without a corresponding increase in productivity/production.

    'Deflation' is the reverse.

    Froggy is introducing the simple theory of demand/supply, but that, in itself, can equally relate to the 'production' of 'money'.


    Surely that's simple enough?
